how to request a repeat prescription

You can request a repeat prescription in three ways.

  • By handing your repeat slip at the desk in the repeat prescriptions box.
  • By sending it in the post with a stamped self-addressed envelope.
  • By faxing it to us. (020 7823 5062)

Make sure you tick the medication required and please allow for 48 hours normally to process your request.

We are unable to accept repeat prescription requests by telephone.
We are planning an online request system which will be available shortly.

ANTIBIOTIC PRESCRIBING

As part of good clinical practice we only prescribe antibiotics when appropriate to do so. Many cases of, for example, sore throats, earache and coughs are caused by viruses and do not respond to antibiotics. These conditions will resolve with time and the use of symptomatic treatment. We are always happy to review you if the symptoms persist.
