How to Request a Repeat Prescription
You can request a repeat prescription in four ways.
- Order online via the link at the top of this page (click here for registration information)
- By handing your repeat slip at the desk in the repeat prescriptions box.
- By sending it in the post with a stamped self-addressed envelope.
- By faxing it to us on 0207 823 5062.
Make sure you tick the medication required and please allow 24 hours normally to process your request.
We are unable to accept repeat prescription requests by telephone.
As part of good clinical practice we only prescribe antibiotics when appropriate to do so. Many cases of, for example, sore throats, earache and coughs are caused by viruses and do not respond to antibiotics. These conditions will resolve with time and the use of symptomatic treatment. We are always happy to review you if the symptoms persist.
Electronic Prescription Service
The Electronic Prescription Service (EPS2) allows your prescription to be sent electronically to the pharmacy of your choice without you needing to come into the practice.
You can nominate a pharmacy near your home or place of work. If you are registered for online services, you can change your nominated pharmacy yourself at any time.
Alternatively, you can ask one of our GPs to add your nominated pharmacy to your medical record.
This service is now available at our practice.

is costing the NHS millions...
About £300m of medicines are wasted each year in England, half of which is unnecessary, a Department of Health study found last year. If the rest of the UK is taken into account the figure is closer to 400m.
They also suggested unused medicines that are returned to pharmacies could be repackaged and made available again - at the moment any returned drugs have to be disposed of.
Please just request only what you need.
